Hello, my name is Rokude Nashiko, and I am an artist working in Japan. The primary motif of my work is my own vagina. In Japanese, the word “manko” means vagina - well, what it really means is “pussy.”

Recently, I made a kayak measuring about 2 meters based on a 3D scan of my own “manko.”

However, my “manko” was deemed obscene by the Japanese government, and in July the police came to my house and arrested me. I am out on bail right now, but I’m still waiting to hear if they will press charges.
It feels like all of my strength has suddenly been taken away from me, but I will keep fighting. And I want to use some of my strength to fight for people with ALS!

So I have to choose between donating a full $100 to ALS charities, or having a bucket of ice water dumped on my head.
But before that, I want to nominate the next 3 people for the challenge.

First, I nominate the mascot of Kumamoto prefecture, Kuma-mon
Second, I nominate the unofficial mascot of Chiba prefecture, Funasshii
Third, I nominate a character who gave me great comfort during my arrest, Pipo-kun!

こんにちは。わたしは自分のヴァジャイナをモチーフに作品を作る日本人のアーティストです。
わたしはヴァジャイナ…日本では「まんこ」といいます…を、3dスキャンして、データを拡大し、2メートルのまんこのボートを作りました。
しかし、そのまんこのデータがわいせつだということで、7月に警察に逮捕されてしまいました。
釈放されましたが、わたしはまだ容疑者の身です。

その理不尽さは、突然筋肉が萎縮して体の自由を奪われてしまう用な感じですが、私は諦めません。
微力ながら、ALSの患者の皆さんのためにも、
わたしは頑張って戦いたいと思います！
